Stationery Terms & Conditions
Payments
Payments must be in cash, check or money order. A retainer of 1/2 the price is required for
confirmation of Wedding Date. Retainer is non-refundable. Balance due must be paid upon approval of final design, before the order goes to print.
Stationery prices quoted on the site include basic design, incorporating stock or provided photos. If additionary photography is requested,
prices for additional services will be quoted based on the specifics required.
Cancellations
Understand this a custom order and retainer is non refundable. If order is cancelled prior to going to the printer,
retainer is forfeited. If contract is cancelled after being sent to the printer, all payments are forfeited. Contract cancellation must be made in writing.
Sample Proof
A proof will be emailed to you for approval before printing.
Once you have checked and approved your proof, please email
your approval in writing to us.
Once your approval has been received, your job will be sent to
print and mailed out to you. Please allow at least 14 days from
approval of your proof to delivery. (A timing estimate will be
sent to you upon approval).
Proofreading
The pdf proof is sent to you to check the content. Please be
aware that due to variations in monitors the colors may vary
slightly on screen to that of the finished product. Client errors
that are signed off on through the proofing process are to be
reprinted at the clients expense. It is the client's responsibility
to check that all copy is correct. Ensure that all text supplied
is as final as possible, we allow for one set of text amendments
at proof stage.
Alterations
Our standard pricing includes the placement of your
wording/images into your chosen theme/layout plus one set
of text amendments at pdf proof stage. Additional amendments
will be charged at an hourly rate.
Printing
As all of our stationery is printed digitally it is possible that subtle
color variations can occur between each piece. This is not
a fault of the design but a natural effect of the printing process.
Stationery can not be refunded or returned because of normal
printing effects. We take pride in the quality of our work and
assure you that all of our stationery is printed to the highest
professional standards.
Writing on Stationery
Stationery is not designed to be put through another printer to
type the names of your guests. If this is the outcome you desire
please choose the personalization option on your order. If you are
writing on the invitations it is advisable to test the pen you are
planning to use first to avoid smudging and double printing.
We recommend that you allow at least 10-15 spare invitations
in your order quantity to allow for calligrapher errors.
Pricing
All prices are in United States Dollars and are subject to change
and availability. Sizes and designs may change over time.
Please confirm pricing with your order.
Images
Images can be supplied either via email, on disk or as a
hard copy photograph. Celebration Generation will not be liable for
photographs or disks lost in the mail. If you think your images
may be lost please keep a copy for yourself. We will return
posted images with your order. Please ensure digital images have
been taken at the highest megapixel setting and size on your camera.
Celebration Generation will examine your images upon receipt and
advise if they are suitable enough quality to print from.
Celebration Generation reserves the right to refuse to use images
that are not of suitable quality or offensive in nature.
Please be aware that printed images may differ in color
and quality to that of your printed photographs.
This is due to the different printing process and technique
that is used. Celebration Generation will not be responsible for variations
in color/quality due to normal printing processes.
Ownership of photography
By supplying images to Celebration Generation for use in stationery
(a) you certify that you are the parent or guardian of any babies or minor children pictured,
or have obtained the consent of the parent or guardian to use
the photos provided.
(b) you certify that you own or have the rights to use any
information or pictures supplied by yourself.
Professional images that are provided to you by professional
photographers are protected by copyright laws and cannot be
reproduced without a signed release form from the photographer.
By supplying images to Celebration Generation you agree to hold harmless
and to indemnify Celebration Generation and its agents, for all liability,
damages, and expenses it may incur as a result of processing
and printing copywritten photographs and reproductions,
including any other person claiming an interest in the photos.
Celebration Generation reserves the right to refuse to use images and cancel
your order if we suspect the images may infringe on someone
elses copyright.
Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
Payment and approval of your stationery design/proof is considered
acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
