Easy Crème Brûlée

My Easy Creme Brulee works up quickly and is sure to impress. Make it vanilla, or one of my flavored creme brulee options - included in the linked post.  In particular, the use of creme liqueur is a great way to bring unique flavor to the dessert!

YOU WILL NEED: Heavy Cream Large Eggs Granulated Sugar Vanilla Extract See linked post for flavoring options - each will require another ingredient or two!

Combine egg yolks & sugar, whisking until thick and pale yellow. Add the vanilla and some of the heavy cream, whisking until smooth.

Heat remaining heavy cream to a simmer, then slowly drizzle into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Pour into ramekins, arrange in a large pan. Add water to the pan, about halfway up the sides of the ramekins.

Bake as directed, then chill for 2 hours. When ready to serve, sprinkle sugar over each custard, melt with a kitchen torch.
