Gingerbread Muffins

Looking for an easy, festive Christmas breakfast option?  These gingerbread muffins - with vanilla glaze - work up in just minutes, and will get you in the holiday spirit!

YOU WILL NEED: All-Purpose Flour Molasses Brown Sugar Powdered Sugar Butter Large Eggs Milk Vanilla Extract Spices Baking Powder Baking Soda Salt

In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, spices, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.

In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, melted butter, molasses and vanilla extract. Add to the dry ingredients, stir just until moistened.

Divide batter between 12 prepared muffin cups, filling each to almost full.

Bake as directed, until a knife or wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly as you make the glaze.

Remove muffins from muffin cups; drizzle with glaze, and serve warm - enjoy!
