Gouda Mashed Potatoes

This Gouda Mashed Potatoes recipe is an easy, tasty way to upgrade your usual potato side dish.  Perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner!

YOU WILL NEED: Red Potatoes Sour cream Butter Shredded Gouda Cheese* Salt and Pepper * This mashed potatoes recipe is especially nice with smoked gouda cheese!

Wash and chop potatoes, cover with hot water, boil until tender -about 20 minutes.

Drain potatoes well, return to the pan. If there is any residual water, allow it to cook off over low heat.

 Add butter and sour cream, to the pan, mash until as smooth as you’d like it.     Add cheese, continue mashing until melted and well incorporated.     Season with salt and pepper, to taste.  Enjoy!
