YOU WILL NEED: Black Velvet Cupcakes Cupcake Frosting Royal Icing Gel Food Coloring Note: The linked post has recipes for both regular and gluten free cupcakes, a couple types of cupcake frosting, and two kinds of royal icing.

Tape some parchment onto a flat work surface, and pipe out your royal icing spider webs.

Tint your remaining royal icing black, and use it to pipe little spiders onto your prepared work surface. Play around with different sizes, make more than you think you need - royal icing is fragile!

Allow your piped decorations to fully dry - overnight, maybe even longer. You'll know they're ready when they're matte and lift easily from the parchment.

Once completely dry, your royal icing spiders & spider webs can be stored flat in an airtight container until you're ready to decorate your Halloween cupcakes with them.

Enjoy, and have a Happy Halloween!
