Cream Cheese Sauce:
- 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
- ⅓ cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Waffles:
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 ¾ cups Buttermilk
- ¼ cup Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Assembly:
- Fresh strawberries sliced
- Banana sliced
Sauce:
In a small saucepan, carefully whisk together softened cream cheese with milk until smooth.
Add sugar and salt, whisk once more to combine.
Heat just to a simmer, whisking constantly to dissolve the sugar
Waffles:
Heat your waffle iron, following the manufacturer’s directions.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add buttermilk, oil, and vanilla, whisk well to combine.
Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stir until well combined - but don’t overbeat it.
Assembly:
Follow your waffle iron instructions to cook the waffles.
Spread cream cheese sauce over hot waffles, top with strawberry and banana.
