Ingredients

Cream Cheese Sauce:

  • 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
  • cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Waffles:

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups Buttermilk
  • ¼ cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Assembly:

  • Fresh strawberries sliced
  • Banana sliced

Instructions

Sauce:

  • In a small saucepan, carefully whisk together softened cream cheese with milk until smooth.
  • Add sugar and salt, whisk once more to combine.
  • Heat just to a simmer, whisking constantly to dissolve the sugar

Waffles:

  • Heat your waffle iron, following the manufacturer’s directions.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add buttermilk, oil, and vanilla, whisk well to combine.
  • Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stir until well combined - but don’t overbeat it.

Assembly:

  • Follow your waffle iron instructions to cook the waffles.
  • Spread cream cheese sauce over hot waffles, top with strawberry and banana.
