Con Food – Hotel Room Smoothies!

At at a convention - living out of a hotel, keeping weird hours, skipping meals - It can be hard to keep up on nutrition. These smoothies are a great way to start a long day! This recipe is for one serving, just multiple it by however many roomies you have crammed together :)

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Protein Powder
  • ¼ Cup Yogurt
  • ¾ Cup Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup Frozen Berries
  • ½ Banana
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered Peanut Butter optional
  • 1-2 tablespoon Wheat Germ or Flax Meal optional

Instructions

  • Place ingredients in a blender.
  • blitz until smooth.
  • Serve!

Notes

Be sure to rinse your blender out well if you won’t be washing it right away, because – in the words of my husband – the smoothie residue is “like cement” when it dries
