Nutella Hot Chocolate

This Easy & Decadent Nutella Hot Chocolate takes only a few minutes to make, and is SO rich and satisfying. The perfect winter beverage - try it with homemade Nutella whipped cream!

Equipment

  • 1 Small saucepan

Ingredients

  • cup Nutella
  • 2 cups Milk of choice we use Unsweetened Almond Milk, for a richer drink, swap out ½ cup of milk for heavy cream
  • Pinch Salt
  • Optional garnishes: Nutella Whipped cream see post for recipe, Chopped Hazelnuts, Chocolate Shavings, Mini Marshmallows, etc

Instructions

  • Measure the Nutella and a small amount of the milk, and the salt into a small saucepan, whisk until smooth.
  • Add the rest of the milk - a little at a time - whisking to fully disperse the Nutella.
  • Heat over medium low heat - whisking constantly - until the Nutella Hot Chocolate is steaming, but NOT quite boiling.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Divide Nutella hot chocolate into 2 mugs, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.
