Ingredients
⅓cupNutella
2cupsMilk of choicewe use Unsweetened Almond Milk, for a richer drink, swap out ½ cup of milk for heavy cream
PinchSalt
Optional garnishes: Nutella Whipped creamsee post for recipe, Chopped Hazelnuts, Chocolate Shavings, Mini Marshmallows, etc
Instructions
Measure the Nutella and a small amount of the milk, and the salt into a small saucepan, whisk until smooth.
Add the rest of the milk - a little at a time - whisking to fully disperse the Nutella.
Heat over medium low heat - whisking constantly - until the Nutella Hot Chocolate is steaming, but NOT quite boiling.
Remove from heat.
Divide Nutella hot chocolate into 2 mugs, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.
