I’ve always been a fan of peaches with Southern Comfort, so of course I had to make a Southern Comfort Peaches N Cream Popsicles recipe! 🙂

As you might know by now, I'm a big fan of combining peaches with Southern Comfort liqueur.

One of my most popular cake flavours - back when I had a cake business - utilized that combo (As well as flavouring the fondant with more Southern Comfort!), one of my favourite cheesecakes of all time - Peachy Southern Comfort Cheesecake - features the combo, and I even make a peach pie with it (Southern Comfort Peach Pie).

So, as my social media streams have been full of every manner of popsicle recipe lately, I got to thinking: How do I want to put that combo in a popsicle?

I immediately decided to riff on the traditional "Peaches N Cream" combo, creating a frozen yogurt pop with peaches and Southern Comfort combined into it.

    Oh, SO good!

Unlike many desserts that utilize spirits or liqueurs as a flavouring agent, this one actually does cook all / most of the actual alcohol off, as the peaches are simmered in it for a while before turning it all into a popsicle.

    The Popsicle Mold Used:

The number of popsicles this will yield will depend on the size of your mold.

As a note, this is the popsicle mold I used for this, and will be using for future recipes. I've had a hell of a time finding a popsicle mold I really like, and this one is finally *the one*, I think! It's nice and sturdy, a good size, really decent quality, and I like the way the lid / sticks work.

This recipe fills this mold perfectly - all 10 filled, no leftovers. The cavities are 3 oz each, so you can expect a similar yield from similarly sized molds.
